I think I posted an epiphany on here a few weeks ago, but I'm gonna just type up a short thing on Flashpoint Fan Fictions.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan, but idk, you get kind of sick of it after a while, first off, IMO, Sam Braddock isn't really the hottest man in the universe, sorry. But there's someone in my SAR group who is 5x hotter than Braddock. (and he's not fictional). Secondly, half of these fan fictions suck okay, is it me or are half of them with Sam and Jules having sex when clearly the rules state that they can not have an intimate relationship. Yeah, rules are made to be broken, but that is only in the heart and mind of a rabid fan girl.

So yeah, my fan fictions aren't exactly the Mona Lisa either, but at least they have plot or has the educational system in America become so f------ up that no one knows what good writing is anymore?

There's also the issue with some IM chats going on, first off, yes, I have in fact created an SRU Chat room. So I am guilty of trespassing the domain of Terms of Service (but of course, nothing has happened . . . yet.) And yes, some of my fictions do have a certain Mary-sue-ness about my OCs, I'm not asking for sainthood here, I'm just asking you to listen to me.

It is not a fan fiction when you base it off of Facebook, I'm not saying that you can't write, clearly you can do that, but please, just  try to think about what you're doing. If a fan fiction is Out Of Character then write a warning in your summary "OOC-ness" because sometimes, people don't want their favorite characters making complete and total idiots out of them selves.

Call me naive, call me a stuck up arrogant little teenager who's hypocritical, but this is what I believe is wrong. I could keep writing until the day grows old (and god please stop me before I do) but I'm stopping now, just take this into consideration.
